Massimo Iosa Ghini

Massimo Iosa Ghini was born in 1959, studied architecture in Florence and graduated at the Politecnico di Milano. Since 1985 he has participated in the forefront of Italian design, creating illustrations, objects and environments for Bolidismo group he founded
He took part of  the Memphis group with Ettore Sottsass. In the same years he opened Studio Iosa Ghini, beginning as an architect and designer.
He designed many architectural spaces, exhibition, cultural and commercial installations, design of stores chains all over the world.
He holds conferences and lectures at various universities, including the Polytechnic of Milan, the Domus Academy, the University La Sapienza in Rome, the Elisava School in Barcelona, the Design Fachhochschule in Cologne and the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst in Vienna.
His works are exhibited in many museums and private collections.
His projects have received the Red Hot Award, the Roscoe Award and the Good Design Award 2001 and 2003 by the Chicago Atheneume.
